That is the topic of examination in "Deathgate". A fictional story based on the real life events of a newlywed couple as they face a near fatal scuba diving accident. A battle of good and evil. Does God care? "Deathgate" dares to not simply ask the question, but presents a production of possibility; a glimpse into the Spirit realm. The writer describes  supernatural events, a merciful God and a Savior's unseen activity that keep us safe from the foils of the enemy.

Scott and Darnisha were able to tell their story on the TLC television show "L.A. INK". The world famous tattoo artist, Nikko Hurtado,  tattooed Scott's chest with a scuba diving regulator to commerate the couples diving accident that inspired Scott's book "Deathgate".
